As Wikipedia sees it, this is the definition of a brand:
A brand is a collection of images and ideas representing an economic producer; more specifically, it refers to the descriptive verbal attributes and concrete symbols such as a name, logo, slogan, and design scheme that convey the essence of a company, product or service.
How do you brand your Virtual Assistant business? Get started with these tips:
Analyze how your competitors are attempting to brand themselves. See how (or if) you are different. If your competition has a missing link in its branding or an opportunity for improvement, take advantage of this and incorporate into your own brand.
Determine the key benefits you provide the market. What makes you different when compared to your competition? This should be highlighted.
Know which of your clients or prospective clients are most important to the viability and success of your product and service, and make sure you are appealing to them.
Follow through on what your brand is selling. Don’t advertise yourself as the lowest cost solution and then offer the lowest cost.
Keep it consistent. Once you establish your brand, it needs to stay consistent. Clients and prospective clients want predictability. Again, if you are selling the lowest cost solution today, clients and prospective clients don’t want to return to your website or business to find that you are now a customized solution with highest prices around.
