Preface Note: Deborah is another Virtual Assistant I have been connected to, via Twitter, for a really long time. She is genuine and loves to help other people. And she has that awesome Texas twang when you speak to her on the phone. Get to know her. You will be glad you did!
What’s YOUR story? How did you get started? From my first job as a Sonic carhop to my last job as an Executive Assistant, I have always enjoyed meeting new people, learning new things, and providing service. So, it was inevitable that a service-based business was in my future. In 2008 I launched DediKated Resource after an unexpected layoff from my corporate job.
Soon after starting my business, I discovered social media as a way to promote it, as well as to network and meet prospective clients. It was love at first tweet! Social media was just beginning to really take off and I wanted to learn all I could about this fascinating medium. The timing was perfect and the more I learned, I realized that this would be an ever-changing area…which both challenged and intrigued me. I have received several certifications in social media, and today I partner with some of the best in the industry to provide all phases of internet marketing and social media services to my clients.
Additionally, I work with an awesome team at with Peggy Murrah & Associates as their Assistant Director of Social Media.
