Someone I like quite a bit (smile) is looking to hire a part-time Social Media Specialist. I’m sharing the opportunity here. I am NOT the person hiring for this position and it’s not for me so please don’t email me asking for more info.
OK, let’s get to it, shall we? Here’s the info.
Now accepting applications for a part-time Social Media Specialist
We are an interactive marketing and consulting firm looking for a entry/mid level social media consultant to help with some of our B2B marketing clients.
Responsibilities will include curating content, writing content, research, strategically interacting and building follower networks on social media sites like Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, and Instagram. The work will occasionally include participating in online events, amplifying client-related content, creating images for social media posts, posting and scheduling content and engaging in online communities on behalf of our clients or our company in real time.
You will also analyze and implement consumer insights from social media (e.g. what are consumers’ comments on clients’ messages and products, what are the hot topics that consumers care about that we could engage with them on, etc.). You will also provide on-going feedback to the management team and client.
We are looking for someone based in the United States with excellent writing and grammar skills, a great passion for engaging with followers and fans. You need to be a quick learner, detail oriented, and good at following written directions. You must be self-directed and able to work well remotely.
We expect an initial workload of 10-15 hours per week with potential for growth. We expect approximately 2 hours per weekday and you’ll need to be able to “split” the time into several smaller blocks of time (in order to engage with followers at various points throughout the day).
This is a 1099-MISC subcontractor position.
